C. Gerhardt’s renewed N-realyzer

New advances in nitrogen and protein determination using the Dumas method

The N-Realyzer system now supports the use of argon as a carrier gas. The device can operate with argon, helium, or both, depending on the sample type and the required detection limit. Additionally, argon can be used in standby mode, for example, during night time hours.

Key features of the system include:

  • Versatility: Suitable for various sample types, both solid and liquid, and capable of analyzing even low nitrogen concentrations. Equipped with an autosampler for up to 100 samples.
  • Ease of use: A clear user interface and automated process control simplify and streamline daily sample analysis and lab work.
  • Functional design: High-quality materials and tool-free operation ensure long service life and easy maintenance.
  • Workplace safety: The analysis does not require strong acids or bases, and daily operations and maintenance tasks can be carried out safely using the system’s optimized workflows.
  • Cost-efficiency: Oxygen addition during the combustion phase is optimized for each sample, keeping analysis costs as low as possible. In standby mode, a more affordable argon gas can be used, regardless of the carrier gas selected for analysis.
